Sibling Story Time: A Group For Children Aged 5-7 Who Have A Sibling With A Diagnosis Of Autism Spectrum Disorder – Foundational Family Service
This group uses children’s books to help young children with a sibling diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder learn about, and embrace difference. The group consists of a storybook reading, a related activity, and a follow-up parent debrief to discuss the story, its themes, and how to respond to questions that may arise later on. The storybook this month will be “Somethings Wrong! A Bear, a Hare, and Some Underwear”.
