Showcase Of Strengths – Foundational Family Services

Kerry’s Place is excited to offer this monthly virtual event where autistic 2SLGBTQ+ youth, aged 13-17, are invited to present their individual talents and creations to the group, celebrating the beauty of self-expression, self-love and uniqueness in our Brave Space. A strength or talent is anything that your child or youth is excited or passionate about, such as a hobby or keen interest. During each event, participants will be introduced to a guest autistic 2SLGBTQ+ artist who will share or demonstrate their own strength with the group.

During this event, youth will:

• showcase their own special talent, creation or strength
• recognize and celebrate the strengths in others
• be introduced to autistic 2SLGBTQ+ creators

Date: Tuesday, July 23, 2024
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Cost: No cost to participate

Participants of this event will be invited to “showcase” their creations on our website and during our Kerry’s Place Outcomes Celebration in October 2024. Kerry’s Place Outcomes Celebration highlights and honours the accomplishments, both big and small, of supported individuals within our Community.

Showcase of Strengths will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place staff two business days prior to the day of the scheduled event.
