ASD Diagnosis: Where do I start? Virtual Workshop

This interactive workshop will provide parents/ caregivers of a child newly diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder an opportunity to discuss and explore options for planning “next steps” as a unique journey for every family.  This will include: sharing common reactions; reflecting on the impact on child and family relationships; learning about community resources, parent/caregiver support services, the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and other funding opportunities available; focusing on the importance of caring for the parent/caregiver; and, developing coping strategies to help guide the process.
