From Respite To Recreation: Supporting Persons In Community Settings
This 2-½ hour workshop provides staff members employed in respite and recreational settings with information about Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as strategies for creating inclusive settings for persons with ASD to allow them to participate fully in their community.
As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:
- list features of ASD
- describe strategies to support persons with ASD
- identify possible strengths of persons with ASD to support participation in one’s community

Cost: $100 per person
