FULL: Fundamentals Of Autism Spectrum Disorder

This workshop is geared towards parents and caregivers, and community members, interested in learning more about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Common characteristics of ASD, possible strengths, needs, learning styles and profiles of persons with ASD will be introduced.

As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • describe characteristics of ASD
  • list three strengths associated with ASD
  • state the current prevalence rate of ASD
