Keeping Connections For Children And Youth With Autism Spectrum Disorder Aged 15 To 17 – Foundational Family Service

This monthly social group gives youth the opportunity to apply skills related to making and keeping friends by discussing recent social experiences, and playing collaborative games, in an informative and social atmosphere.  This group includes a parent debrief to review the social and leisure skills discussed, and how parents and caregivers can help their youth put these skills into practice.

Participating in this group will give participants the opportunity to:

• share and ask questions about recent social experiences in a supportive environment
• troubleshoot recent social situations with peers
• support each others’ social learning
• apply skills related to making and keeping friends
