Keeping Safe In A Digital World – Foundational Family Services
This 2½-hour workshop provides parents and caregivers with information and strategies to help safely navigate a child or youth’s online presence and enhance cyber safety. This workshop was developed in collaboration with Halton Regional Police Service.
As a result of participating in this workshop, participants will be able to:
- describe the importance of online safety
- identify online risks for persons with ASD
- define key terms related to online safety
- implement teaching strategies to support online safety
