OAP – Coping with a Diagnosis (Surrey Place)
This workshop is designed to support caregivers of children who have recently received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Caregivers will have the opportunity to explore and discuss their reactions to the diagnosis, receive information about coping and self-care, and plan ways to incorporate these strategies into their daily lives. Relevant community resources will be shared. This is a foundational family service through the OAP and families must meet eligibility criteria to attend.
