Transitional Aged Youth Roundtables

Kerry’s Place is excited to offer Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Roundtables for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ages 14-18, who are experiencing a transition. The group encourages participants to engage in roundtable discussions on transitiona-related skills. Teens will get the opportunity to interact with each other, enjoy activities and discuss ways to cope with various transitions.

The Roundtable Topic of community engagement will focus on developing an understanding of resources and activities available in the community. Participants will have opportunity to discuss how to access and participate in community activities based on their needs/interests. The session will conclude with recommendations to encourage the application of strategies and skills taught during the session.

Transitional Aged Youth Roundtables will be delivered virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be e-mailed by Kerry’s Place staff 24 hours before the event starts.

To participate, the following is required:

• Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer
• An internet connection
• Speakers and a microphone
• A webcam
