Description
Nonprofit organization with a network of community services for children and adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder; committed to enhancing the quality of life of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, through innovative supports, expertise, collaboration and advocacy.
Community Services Program:
Provides consultation and support to individuals, families, schools and other agencies regarding the issues surrounding the Pervasive Developmental Disorder Spectrum. Consultation and teaching focuses on behavioural supports, communication strategies, life and social skills, long term planning and school advocacy. Families and individuals can access support groups, workshops, employment support services and social groups for children, teens and adults. Resource centres offer an array of books, articles and access to computers as well as some sensory toys and items.
Respite Services:
A variety of respite services may be available to children, adults and families within catchment area.
