OAP – No Fair! Teaching Emotional Regulation (Surrey Place)

Would you like to learn strategies to help your child regulate their emotions? In this workshop families will learn what emotional regulation is, how to identify dysregulation, and practical strategies to help their child begin to manage their emotions. This session is for caregivers who have children with a functional communication system who have difficulty regulating emotions. Note: After attending, families are eligible for a 1-hour follow up session to focus on individualized goals and to create a plan to apply their learning at home with their child. This is a foundational family service through the OAP and families must meet eligibility criteria to attend.
