OAP – Transition to Adulthood (Surrey Place)

he transition to adulthood can be difficult for individuals with autism. With support and preparation, these changes can be easier. Please join us to discuss the different types of transitions your teenager may encounter (i.e., employment, residence, or post-secondary education). Caregivers will learn strategies that can help manage this transition and what resources are available to support it. Note: After attending, families are eligible for a 1-hour follow up session to focus on individualized goals and to create a plan to apply their learning at home with their child. This is a foundational family service through the OAP and families must meet eligibility criteria to attend.
