Transitional Aged Youth Roundtables (Kerry’s Place)

Kerry’s Place is excited to offer Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Roundtables for youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ages 14-18, who are experiencing a transition. The group encourages participants to engage in roundtable discussions on transitional related skills. Teens will get the opportunity to interact with each other, enjoy activities and discuss ways to cope with various transitions.

The Roundtable Topic of social awareness will focus on teaching skills and providing strategies to foster social relationships with others. Discussions will include making and maintaining friendships, information sharing and boundaries. Participants will have the opportunity to gain better awareness about themselves while in community settings. The session will conclude with recommendations to encourage the application of strategies and skills taught during the session.
